For the past several years Watershed has supported the Christmas Village Toy Store (CVTS), and we're excited to invite our community into this holiday generosity opportunity once again! For those who haven't participated before, the CVTS provides a “hand up” for Charlotte families who want to purchase affordable new toys for their children at Christmas. Rather than simply giving a handout of toys to at-risk families, we believe in empowering families to purchase Christmas gifts on their own. The store helps parents with limited resources purchase gifts at a fraction of the retail cost, preserving their dignity in the process.

Last year we collected 500 toys for the store, and this year we'd like to stretch beyond that number to 550 gifts! Here's how you can participate:

-Check out the CVTS wish list for ideas.
-Bring new, unwrapped toys to either Gathering on Sunday, December 4th. If you're unable to attend a Sunday Gathering on the 4th, toys can be dropped off at the Watershed Office between 9AM-4PM any day during the week. The last day to drop off gifts is Wednesday, December 7th. Please leave price tags on all purchases!

Thanks for helping us embody a spirit of generosity and compassion this season!
