LABOR DAY WEEKEND: WE ARE STILL ON

This Sunday will be our last weekend meeting at 10:00AM before we switch to back to two service times. Join us this weekend as Justice & Leadership Pastor Cedric Lundy addresses the issue of racial reconciliation by exposing some of the blindspots in our racial history and suggesting some ways forward to racial harmony.

George Erasmus, an aboriginal leader from Canada, said, "Where common memory is lacking, where people do not share in the same past, there can be no real community. Where community is to be formed, common memory must be created."

Much of our nation's continuing issues with race can be distilled down to the fact that we lack a common memory of our past, thus we remain divided in the present with little direction or vision on how to move toward a future with promise for healing, peace, and unity.
