Join us on Sunday, January 21st from 9:15-10:45am for the next installment of The Potting Shed Parenting Workshops: "Questions For a Professional." We all have questions about parenting and our children... A LOT OF QUESTIONS. GreenHouse + Shed Students long to connect with other parents and bring in people to speak to us that can build support and encouragement, adding value and clarity into our daily situations.
This session we are bringing in two licensed counselors/play therapists from The Stone Center that will be tailoring the training based on the questions most parents have that they would like guidance and support from a trained professional. Katie Burnett (a GreenHouse volunteer and long-time Watershedder is one of the people joining and bringing her skillset!)
So let's hear it parents! What are your BIG questions in terms of parenting, your children, a specific situation, a broad overview, a challenge.... anything. Even if you are unable to attend, knowing what your questions are will make a huge difference in the ways we continue to love and care for one another.
Course is free, but registration is required! Sign up here.
The Potting Shed is a parenting workshop series of topics, discussions, and trainings cycled frequently and led by child/family therapists within Watershed, experts in our city, and members of the GreenHouse & Shed Students staff team.
Topics are geared toward providing tools to add to your parenting gardens so you can uncover your own parenting style. You are the expert in your family, we’re just here to support your work and we plant roots together.
