Watershed Volunteer Force
As Watershed continues to grow in its capacity to do good and love well, we will perpetually call our community into opportunities that contribute to that end. Listed below are some positions that we are seeking to fill within our volunteer culture at Watershed. If one of these areas resonates with you, we'd love to chat through what it might look like to bring you on to one of our volunteer teams.
This position will work alongside the staff of Watershed in the day-to-day operations. We are looking for people with excellent organizational skills and the ability to navigate a variety of tasks and projects. If you are looking to jump into some of the behind-the-scenes work that happens at Watershed, this could be a great spot for you!
This position is for the musician who loves to see the details associated with the music at Watershed come to fruition. We are looking for someone who knows how to chart and arrange music, can assist with scheduling as well as contribute to the creative musical efforts. This person will have musical experience as well as a highly detail oriented skill set. If this post resonates with you, we'd love to chat.
Production support (tech)
This position will primarily be dealing with the production side of our Sunday morning gatherings. We are looking for someone who has some technology experience and is wanting to work in our lighting, video, media, and audio departments. This person will work in cooperation with the creative team to help the experiences on Sunday morning become a reality. If you are intrigued by the technology piece of our Sunday morning gatherings, we'd love to talk to you about what it might look like for you to be a part of the team that makes it all happen.
This position is someone who will oversee our volunteer force. This person will be responsible for making sure volunteers are assimilated and set up to succeed. As a volunteer coordinator, this person will be a liaison between volunteers and staff as we continue to grow the volunteer base at Watershed. If you are organizationally gifted and enjoy working with other volunteers to facilitate a good volunteer experience, then this might be the post for you.
Communications (social media/Copy)
This post will consist of a few people who will be responsible for the growing communication needs at Watershed. As we continue to produce unique content and media, it will be the role of our communications team to facilitate its longevity and delivery. We are looking for people who can own the communications at Watershed in a few unique ways: social media, copywriting and editing. If your interest is piqued by this description, we'd love to chat.
As our community grows there is a growing need for a team of people who can cover our child-care need. There are various events and smaller group settings in which we need to be able to facilitate childcare for the children of the parents in the group. We are looking for a team of people who can own this piece and make sure that childcare is coordinated with the group requiring it. This will be a paid post contingent upon the agreement of the group and the individual(s) providing childcare. If this sounds like it might be something you could be a part of, we'd love to talk to you about how to make it work.
We are primarily storytellers at Watershed. We see the world through the eyes of our community and are looking for people who can capture these stories and edit them. If you have any sort of video experience or interest in video, we would love to talk to you.
At Watershed we always say that our people, our stories are the greatest asset we have. We are looking for some photographers who can help us capture moments that will inevitably give us glimpses into these priceless stories. If you have any photography experience or interest in photography, we'd like to talk with you.
As digital content becomes the medium by which we all communicate, we are looking for people who are experienced an interested in coming alongside Watershed in creating high quality digital content. If this is something you'd be interested in, we'd love to chat.
As in any homeownership situation, there are many projects and tasks that need to be attended to in regards to our building. It is not our desire to ever let the focus of our community reside in our building, but we believe it to be our responsibility to make the best use of this space that we can. We are looking for people who can own our facilities in a few unique ways: lawn care and maintenance, special projects, skilled labor, events team, and landscaping team.
As we grow in the experiential side of our Sunday morning gatherings, we seek to engage all of our senses. This kind of intentionality goes well beyond what happens on a Sunday morning. It takes a team of people thinking through each and every element and making sure that our entire space is maximized.
