Modern life is lonely. Our nation is polarized. Our lives are atomized and isolated. And the lines between the public and personal are increasingly blurred. Amidst all of this, the Church stands as an institution teetering on obsolescence but persistent in its insistence on hope and possibility. In what ways can the Church evolve to meet this present moment? And in what ways can it invite us to look back and recall what we may have missed or forgotten?
